Matthias Schack-Arnott creates a six channel sound installation for the 2015 MPavilion, played every night at sunset from 6 October 2015 to 7 February 2016.
As the sun sets each night, AL_A’s gently swaying MPavilion will perform its own evening ritual. Installed where the structure’s roof petals and carbon fibre poles meet, LEDs will create scattered halos of light that are synchronised to a multi-channel sound installation, based on the spectral analysis of 25 chinese cymbals. Unfolding nightly throughout MPavilion’s 2015 season.
