Schack-Arnott, who’s work has been described as ‘virtuosic’ (The Wire), ‘brilliant’ (Artshub) & ‘stunning’ (Realtime), has developed a unique gestural language using wireless lapel microphones attached directly to his wrists, allowing him to amplify rapid shifts in movement between massed chinese cymbals. Dreamy & ritualistic… Harmonic patterns cycle in and out of audibility as asymmetric shapes simultaneously emerge in sound and gesture.
