A solo work by Matthias Schack-Arnott, Fault Traces uses subsonic frequencies to trigger vibrational patterns on layers of percussive objects and strewn material. Bells, cymbals, bamboo and glass are used to form shimmering kinetic systems, resulting in extremes of pitch and density. Inspired by our physical and psychological relationship to the subterranean.
